About EVOCER: Ecover is an international company active in the production of ecological cleaners. Founded in 1980 in Belgium, we have been a trendsetter from the very start: as a pioneering company, marketing a phosphate-free washing powder even before phosphates were branded as a problem. Since then, Ecover, under the ownership of Jørgen Philip Sørensen CBE, has developed into the world’s largest producer of ecological cleaning products. Besides its headquarters outside of Antwerp, Belgium, Ecover has sites in the U.S., the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and our products are marketed in more than 20 countries.
Ecover’s progressive environmental policy is not only demonstrated by the products we sell, it is also an integral part of the company’s business operations. Acting in the spirit of the externally ISO 14001 standard, we have extended our environmental policy to all departments of the company, from production to marketing. One of the most striking results is the world’s first ecological factory. Built in October 1992, it has a grass (sedum) roof extending over more than 10,8002 feet. It received extensive press attention at the time, and draws more than a thousand visitors every year even now.
Ecover has received awards and recognition on many occasions for its special contributions and achievements in the field of environmentally friendly, sustainable development. Among various recognition, perhaps the most prestigious was being named to the Global 500 Roll of Honour of the United Nations Environment Program, in 1993.
All of the products work just as well; if not better than the others that rely on harsh chemicals to get the job done. I do not like to clean, but was very anxious to give these products a try. I was sent the Glass and Surface Cleaner, Bathroom cleaner, Toilet bowl cleaner and the All Purpose cleaner.
The first thing I noticed with all of these products was the smell. All of the products gave off a fresh clean scent- my nose was thankful for that and my eyes were thankful that they did not burn while using these in a small space (my bathroom). I am so used to smelling the “clean” smell of bleach and other harmful harsh things for a few days after the cleaning is actually done. I now know that this is not the case anymore. I also loved the fact that there was not a film or residue left behind in the tub or on my chrome. One rinse is all it took; not 2-3 as I normally have to do. I especially love knowing that my young children would not get the aftermath of the cleaning agents on their skin when it was their bath time.
Kipling Wagner, the Assistant Marketing Manager with ECOVER was gracious enough to donate the same household products that she sent me!

Organic Food Bar Kid’s Review and Giveaway
I have been given a great opportunity recently in getting to review Organic Food Bar Kid’s.
My 4 ½ year old daughter was excited as well to get her very own “energy bars”
The first flavor she ate was Chocolate Brownie Crunch. Amara said, “Yummy tasting mom. I like this!” After the next bite she noticed there were cashews in the bar. “Is that a cashew mom? I don’t like plain cashews, but I love them in this bar!” To my surprise she liked the Cherry Pie bar better then the Apple Pie bar. She said the Apple Pie bar needed some cinnamon and whip cream! She ate all 3 until there was not one crumb left though. I will be buying these for my children. They are wholesome ingredients that I can feel good giving them. None of these bars had more than 10 ingredients in them and I could pronounce all of them with ease!
Some cool facts about these Organic Food Bar Kid’s:
*No trans fat
*Pure and unprocessed
*100% certified organic
*Prepared fresh daily
*No high fructose corn syrup
I think those are very important factors when dealing with nutrition for our kids.
In 2001, Dr. Jack J. Singh founded Organic Food Bar. Historically, Organic Food Bar started in a brave way years ago before anybody else. They printed the benefits of raw foods on the front of their 70-90% raw bar. It also was way higher in price then the power bars of its day. They are pioneers and helped pave the way for all the other raw entrepreneurs we see today. They are the ORIGINAL and still the BEST in quality and value!
Organic Food bar donates a portion of every purchase of its Organic Food Bar Kid’s directly to schools in local communities across America. They have allocated 2% of sales from each Organic Food Bar Kid’s to local schools. Our children are facing an unprecedented health crisis with rates of obesity rising sharply. So, the funds they give to schools are embarked to promote better nutrition and more physical activity.
So as you can see, these bars are not only healthy and great tasting, but this company really cares about the future of our kids and is helping out by giving back!
The kind people at Organic Food Bar were gracious enough to donate the 3 flavors of their Organic Food Bar Kid’s- Cherry Pie, Apple Pie and Chocolate Brownie Crunch for you to win!
