I was very excited to receive cleaning products in the mail! These products are plant based and eco-friendly. This year my household is trying to be more “green” in any way possible. These products work for me and the environment. Here are just a few highlights of the various products:
~Plant based ingredients
~Fresh plant based fragrance
~Fast and complete biodegradability
~Minimum impact on aquatic life
~Safe for septic tanks
~Chrome friendly
About EVOCER: Ecover is an international company active in the production of ecological cleaners. Founded in 1980 in Belgium, we have been a trendsetter from the very start: as a pioneering company, marketing a phosphate-free washing powder even before phosphates were branded as a problem. Since then, Ecover, under the ownership of Jørgen Philip Sørensen CBE, has developed into the world’s largest producer of ecological cleaning products. Besides its headquarters outside of Antwerp, Belgium, Ecover has sites in the U.S., the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and our products are marketed in more than 20 countries.
Ecover’s progressive environmental policy is not only demonstrated by the products we sell, it is also an integral part of the company’s business operations. Acting in the spirit of the externally ISO 14001 standard, we have extended our environmental policy to all departments of the company, from production to marketing. One of the most striking results is the world’s first ecological factory. Built in October 1992, it has a grass (sedum) roof extending over more than 10,8002 feet. It received extensive press attention at the time, and draws more than a thousand visitors every year even now.
Ecover has received awards and recognition on many occasions for its special contributions and achievements in the field of environmentally friendly, sustainable development. Among various recognition, perhaps the most prestigious was being named to the Global 500 Roll of Honour of the United Nations Environment Program, in 1993.
All of the products work just as well; if not better than the others that rely on harsh chemicals to get the job done. I do not like to clean, but was very anxious to give these products a try. I was sent the Glass and Surface Cleaner, Bathroom cleaner, Toilet bowl cleaner and the All Purpose cleaner.
The first thing I noticed with all of these products was the smell. All of the products gave off a fresh clean scent- my nose was thankful for that and my eyes were thankful that they did not burn while using these in a small space (my bathroom). I am so used to smelling the “clean” smell of bleach and other harmful harsh things for a few days after the cleaning is actually done. I now know that this is not the case anymore. I also loved the fact that there was not a film or residue left behind in the tub or on my chrome. One rinse is all it took; not 2-3 as I normally have to do. I especially love knowing that my young children would not get the aftermath of the cleaning agents on their skin when it was their bath time.
Kipling Wagner, the Assistant Marketing Manager with ECOVER was gracious enough to donate the same household products that she sent me!

I never thought of a natural car wash and wax in all my organic buying. That was interesting to see and be aware of. Especially since I end of wearing so much of the soap when I hand wash my car.

I've used Ecover fabric softener, and it's really fabulous. I use it with Charlie's Soap, which has no scent, so the Ecover gives my flannel sheets a nice soft scent without the heaviness of Downy or Snuggle. Also good for my septic system, not to mention my skin.
i would like the stain remover.
The fabric softener please.

I always buy their 32 oz. Fabric Softener. I love to use it on dress clothes as it helps them not wrinkle, and on pjs to smell sweet and be extra soft. This is the only natural fabric softener I really like and that really works! I haven't tried any of their other products, tho', and I was not aware of them as the store I frequent doesn't have them all.
